Great, functional idea!
I love offering multiple sauces for finger foods, but finding the containers to do it usually is cumbersome or awkward -- I don't want my whole set-up overwhelmed by little bowls of dip, not to mention I don't want to have to juggle them all while setting up. The proportions of this piece are perfect -- I can put my super-popular chicken dippers around the edge and give people sauce choices while keeping everything neat, tidy, proportional and easy to pass ... PLUS having an easy-to-reach place for toothpicks to keep fingers off the food!
