Mesa was founded in New England more than 25 years ago by a ceramic artist who was inspired to bring country living into the American home. She chose the name Mesa, which is Spanish for “table”, to symbolize that the products were designed to enhance the home and hearth.
In our early years, our products had a traditional look and feel to them that was classic in its design and detail.
Today, while some of our products still embrace traditional and country looks, we support and promote creativity regardless of the style.
Driven by design, the Mesa of today is influencing the latest trends in home decor.
Our intent is to create distinctive products for the home with a focus on entertaining – products that enhance and enliven dining rooms and kitchens and better organize the home environment for everyone to enjoy.
The work of our extraordinary ensemble of designers is testimony to the ways in which sources of inspiration can lead to superior design.
