Before I begin to design. I ask myself what I’d like to have in my home. What would my friends and family like to have in their homes? I look at trend/design driven blogs on a daily basis. They are excellent windows into what is happening in the rest of the world. I frequent art galleries and antique shops. and peruse my collection of art books often. I am. however. most inspired by the world around me. whether it be the brilliant yellow in a street sign. or the intricacies of an old woodcut. Everything has a story to tell.
